nary tract, joints, skin and any other surgical procedures. Ceftriaxone in It kills the infection-causing bacteria by inhibiting the formation of the bacterial cell wall. It will be given to you at a hospital under the medical supervision of a doctor and nurse. Do not self inject. Your doctor or nurse will give you this injection as a drip (intravenous infusion) or as an injection directly into a vein or a muscle after assessing the correct dose for you based on the severity of the infection. Sometimes you may experience diarrhoea, altered blood levels, pain at the injection site, headache, dizziness after taking this medicine. However, these side effects get resolve on their own, if it worsens inform your doctor immediately.
