Foligraf 225IU Injection is a type of follicle-stimulating hormone that belongs to the class of hormones called gonadotropins. These gonadotropins are involved in reproduction and fertility. It is used to treat infertility in women and men. In adult women, it is used to help release an egg from the ovary (ovulation) in women with other medicines. In adult men, it helps to produce sperm that are infertile due to a low level of certain hormones.  

Do not use Foligraf 225IU Injection if you are allergic to follicle-stimulating hormone or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.  Do not take this medicine if you have a brain tumor, ovarian or breast cancer. Do not take this medicine if you have ovarian cysts of unknown origin. Inform your physician if you have porphyria or a family history of porphyria. Inform your physician if you have any skin problems or stomach, arm, or leg pain before starting the treatment.

Foligraf 300 IU Injection belongs to the class of drugs called hormones used in the treatment of female infertility in women whose ovaries do not produce eggs and in women receiving treatments like IVF (in-vitro fertilization). Infertility is unable to become pregnant after trying for a year. Female infertility may be caused due to different factors affecting ovulation (release of an egg from the ovary), fertilization (fusion of sperm and egg) and implantation (fertilized egg attaches to uterus lining).

Foligraf 300 IU Injection contains Urofollitropin which works similarly to follicle-stimulating hormone (natural sex hormone). Foligraf 300 IU Injection increases oestrogen production that stimulates the development of the egg and mature follicle in women having ovulation (release of an egg from the ovary) problems and those undergoing IVF treatments.
